Pallab Banerjee

Managing Director

Pallab is the Managing Director of Pearl Global Industries Ltd.
He completed his Bachelors from Delhi University in 1990 and a diploma holder in Apparel Marketing & Merchandising from NIFT, and did his Financial Management from eCornell.
He has been in the apparel industry for 3 decades, out of which 20 years were in Gap Inc. In his last assignment before joining Pearl he was Vice President of Global Sourcing and Managing Director of Gap India operation
With world class experience in Supply Chain Strategic Solutions, he is able to devise competitive , long term strategies with the unique ability to identify trends that the brands pick on and develop.

Sanjay Gandhi

Group CFO

Sanjay is the Group CFO of Pearl Global, his journey with Pearl Global began in 2019.
He graduated from Shriram College of Commerce in 1997 and is a certified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also done a ‘Strategic Thinking’ program from ISB in 2013.
He leads and drives the strategic relationships with Pearl Global business partners, financial institutions and investors.
He has over 22+ years of experience, working with companies like Olam International, , Kalyani Group of Companies, Toshiba Group etc.

Mr. Rahul Mehta Narendra

Non-Executive, Independent Director

Chairman of the Advisory Board at the School of Fashion Technology, Pune; Trustee for Sadhana Education Society, TRRAIN, and the Rotary Club of Bombay Mid Town.
An MBA from Bajaj Institute (1971), has over 40 years of experience in the garment industry.
He was key in launching iconic brands like UFO Jeans, 109F, and Portico.
Past president of the CMAI and the International Apparel Federation, he was the first Indian to lead the IAF.

Mrs. Jyoti Arora

Non-Executive, Independent Director

Mrs. Arora is a retired IAS officer with 36 years of service, has held key leadership roles in Power, Infrastructure, Electronics, IT and Education sector
She held key positions of Government of India like Special Secretary & Financial Advisor – Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Joint Secretary – Ministry of power
She held various positions in Government of Haryana as Additional Chief Secretary – Higher Education and Technical Education Department/Agriculture & Cooperation, she was also the Managing Director of Power Utilities of Distribution, Transmission & Generation for about 10 years and was the Director Industries and Deputy Commissioner of 4 districts of Haryana
She led various reforms in the Power Sector as Managing Director of Haryana Power Utilities and also as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Power
At Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, she launched the first PLI Scheme for mobile manufacturing and hardware electronics of around INR 70,000 crores, besides supporting various emerging technologies.
In education sector, she steered the State Private universities Bill and was instrumental in setting up of private universities like Ashoka University & Global Jindal University
Her last assignment was State Information Commissioner Haryana

Began his journey in the apparel industry in early 2000s.
He has been overseeing the domestic & overseas operations of the Company and has played an important role in streamlining business processes and enhancing relationships with leading retailers in the U.S.

Shifalli Seth

Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Bradford, UK.
She has international experience in trading and marketing of readymade garments and has good knowledge of the South East Asia region.

Samidha Bhatnagar

CHRO-India of Pearl Global

Samidha Bhatnagar is the CHRO-India of Pearl Global.
Samidha brings with her an impressive career spanning over 25 years in the Human Resources domain, with deep expertise in the manufacturing sector. She has a strong track record of aligning HR strategies with business goals, leading complex organizational transformations, and driving initiatives in talent acquisition, performance management, capability building, employee engagement, and HR automation.
Samidha is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader, She is known for her ability to develop high-performing teams, implement innovative HR solutions, and foster a people-centric culture.
Samidha has completed her MBA from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar and is currently pursuing a Management Development Programme at IIM Kozhikode, further enriching her strategic capabilities.

Vijay Yadav

Chief Operating Officer (COO) -India

Vijay Yadav is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) – India of Pearl Global.
Vijay has 25 years of experience across diverse global markets, he brings extensive expertise in Business Production Operations, Manufacturing Planning, Quality Management, and Strategy Formulation. He has worked with both value-driven and volume-led organizations in regions including India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Cambodia.
Vijay has deep experience in handling woven, knits, and denim businesses.
He is a professional with a postgraduate diploma in Garment Manufacturing Technology (GMT) from the National Institute of Fashion Technology.

Sebastian del Pinal

Partner and CEO

Sebastian del Pinal is the CEO of the Guatemala Operations of Pearl Global. Having been educated in Autin, Texas, Sebastian has focused relentlessly on developing talent and making Guatemala a center for manufacturing excellence focused on processes, social , environmental and community engagement.

Amant Dewan

Partner

Amant is a Partner of Pearl Global Guatemala
He graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School and B.A. in Economics from Brown University
Amant has focused on investing in and building apparel manufacturers in Guatemala for the past 10 years. He previously worked in the private equity funds of Goldman Sachs and Citicorp Venture Capital, investing in the U.S. and Asia.

Neha Khanna

Non-Executive, Independent Director

Ms. Neha Khanna possesses experience in the field of investment banking, financial advisory, internal audit and risk management.
She trained with PwC India in the audit vertical, prior to joining ANG Group. At ANG, Neha advises early stage companies and SMEs on fundraising via ValPro, the investment banking and financial advisory firm of ANG. She co-founded Enablers, an extension of ValPro focussing on startup fundraising and financial advisory services.
She is committed to building an eco-system for accelerating the growth of start-ups and SMEs in India. Her experience in end-to-end transaction execution enables her to understand different perspectives of clients’ needs and helps her in concluding transactions for funding across stages, cheque sizes and sectors.
Neha also manages the group’s proprietary investments as well as client portfolios under a PM. Asset classes include varied listed equities, unlisted equities and bonds.
After completing her B.Com at Shri Ram College of Commerce & Chartered Accountancy, Neha pursued an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Abhishek Goyal

Mr. Abhishek Goyal, graduated in Finance and Economics from The University of Virginia in 2002.
He worked with Andor Capital Management ($11B AUM Long/Short Equity Fund) in Manhattan between 2002-2008, as Senior Analyst, covering technology companies with a focus on hardware and software. He then moved to Hong Kong (2008 – 2009) to start Andor’s office there and invest in Asian companies.
In 2009, he joined White Elm Capital, as Senior Analyst and managed a $80M India-focused portfolio.
In 2013, he co-founded OnCourse Vantage Pvt Ltd. OnCourse is India’s foremost creative and alternate education company. The mission of the company is to bridge the gap between formal classroom education and real-world skills, by offering a plethora of institutional and non-institutional programs to help develop life-skills along with assisting students who are looking for a world-class education abroad.

Girish brings over 35 years of experience in the apparel industry, excelling in manufacturing, planning, marketing, and merchandising across markets like India & Indonesia.

Adarsh Sharan is the CEO of India Div 2 of Pearl Global.
Adarsh has 26+ years of expertise across diverse global markets with specialization in cost effective and quality manufacturing, projects and business expansion, integrating product and design with marketing and business development, customer relationships, and creating an efficient supply chain leading to business growth and strategic business planning.
He is a professional with a postgraduate degree in Garment Manufacturing Technology (GMT) from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi.

Jonathan Raimbault

Marketing & Design

Jonathan Raimbault leads marketing & design in Spain.
He is an international apparel expert with 15 years of experience in purchasing, sales and marketing.
He has worked in some of the world’s most-reputed MNCs including Mango, Inditex, & Beximco, and successfully implemented strategies to increase revenues.

A banker turned entrepreneur with 2+ decades of experience in the Indian Fashion Industry
Genesis Luxury is now a part of Reliance Brands Limited (RBL), a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited
Mr Kapoor has been pivotal in introducing several luxury International brands into India such as Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Paul Smith, Bottega Veneta, Jimmy Choo, Tumi, Coach and Michael Kors

Matthew Healy

CEO - Branding & Licensing

Matthew P. Healy is the CEO of Pearl Unlimited, a division of Pearl Global.
He brings 35+ years of expertise in product design and development, merchandising, global sourcing sales execution and private label and brand marketing in the apparel industry.
He has worked in several multinational companies such as Sean John – OOC, Tommy Hilfiger, Delta Galil USA, Kenneth Cole and Calvin Klein, implementing successful strategies to increase revenues and new product lines.
He was running his own company named Apparel Partnership Group, LLC for 10 years before taking up this project with Pearl Global.

He is the CEO of Alpha Industries Ltd and joined the PGL group in 2021.
He’s a proven leader with over three decades of experience & expertise in manufacturing and trading knit & woven garments.
He has worked with global brands across North America, Europe and Australia.

Guru heads the Vietnam and Hong Kong unit of Pearl Global.
Guru’s varied experience of all aspects of the supply chain from Manufacturing, Sourcing to Retail gives him a unique ability to lead a sustained profitable growth, deliver strategies that offers critical solutions to customers, mentor talent and build a sustainability focused manufacturing operations known for excellence.

Jeffery Kreindel

Executive Vice President

Jeff heads up the Sales and Marketing efforts of Pearl Global North America as Executive Vice President.
With over 38 years of experience in the apparel industry, he has led US efforts for major manufacturers such as Must Garment USA, Kikit Jeans, Solutions, and Ilio.
Jeff has traveled extensively to India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong providing him with comprehensive knowledge in garment sourcing.
He is a graduate of Philadelphia University with a BA degree in Textile Management and Marketing.

David Ayala

Global Creative Director

David is the Creative Director of Pearl Global.
He is a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with a degree in Fashion Design along with a certification in Esthiology from the Aveda Institute.
He has over 20 plus years of design leadership experience with brands like Macy’s, Walmart, UNIQLO, Levi’s, Puma and Calvin Klein Jeans.

Amy Rosenberg

Vice President - Merchandising - US

Amy is the Vice President of Merchandising in the US for Pearl Global.
Amy graduated from American University in 1995 and has over 28 years of experience in the fashion industry. Amy is a highly experienced and driven merchandiser, with a strong background in brand management, product development, market analysis, trending and business development. Amy has worked with some of the biggest brands in the United States including CK Jeans, Macy’s, Walmart, One Jeanswear Group and Jordache.

Dr. Mahesh Seth

Vice President - Operations

Dr. Mahesh Seth leads the operations of Pearl Global in the US.
He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, and a MBA from Michigan State University.
He has been an advisor to the founders of Pearl Global from its inception, and has led the US operations on a full time basis since 2006. Prior to that, he had founded a process control software company in the US, which was eventually acquired by an Austrian company.

She is responsible for overlooking the designing and development processes for UK and Southern Hemisphere

Narendra joined Pearl Global as the CFO-India in 2021
He has over 27+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury operations, Financial Planning, Taxation and Commercial Operations.
He gained his expertise by working with brands like Surya Roshni Ltd, SU-KAM Power Systems Ltd, Surya Manufacturing, Intex Technologies and Modelama Exports

Pankaj Bhasin

CEO (Woven)

Pankaj is the CEO of the Woven Division (India) at Pearl Global.
He graduated from the Delhi University and completed his post- graduation in Apparel Production and Merchandising from Pearl Academy of Fashion. He began his journey with Pearl Global.
As the CEO, he handles procurement and execution of the business for the Woven processes.

Sundeep is the CEO of Knits Division at Pearl Global.
He graduated from Delhi University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s in Science.
Sundeep has over 35 years of experience in the vertical of Merchandising with brands like Rangi International, Rolex Hosiery, J.C.T and more.

Sanjay acts as the Country Director for Pearl Global’s presence in Bangladesh
He is a Chartered Accountant with Post Graduate Degree in Financial Management and leads the finance, operations, supply chain and commercials for Pearl Global.
With an experience of over 32 years in the industry, Sanjay plays a key role in expanding the business and ensuring that processes are optimized.

Vikas Mehra

Vikas Mehra is the CEO of the Bangladesh Operations of Pearl Global
His journey with Pearl began in October 2021. He is responsible for handling the overall operations of both Woven and Knits business.
His role is to align and integrate processes for a seamless system that can cater to fashion requirements in the US, UK, Europe and Australia.

Ratna Singh

Ratna is the Group CHRO of Pearl Global
She has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources with special focus on talent development, talent management, talent retention, talent acquisition, team building, corporate events and more.
She graduated from Delhi University in 1995 and has worked with some of the most renowned brands like Flipkart, McKinsey and Company Inc, Evalueserve and Sadhan Enterprise.

Mr. Deepak Kumar

Executive Director

Deepak is the Executive Director of Pearl Global Industries Limited.
He is 42 years old and has completed his Bachelors in Science from MDU Rohtak. In addition to the same, he also holds a PG qualification from Symbiosis Pune.
Deepak is in the corporate industry for the past over two decades.
He worked with the Delhi International Airport Ltd before joining Pearl Global Industries Limited.

Rajendra Aneja

Masters in Management Studies with an Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
He has over 35 years of robust business management experience in multinational and family businesses in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
He has also been the CEO of a large retail business in the Middle East, handling about 75 large retail outlets in fashion, cosmetics and electronics goods in the Middle East, Far East countries.

Anil Nayar

B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur and MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.
He has over 36 years of experience in the area of Corporate Strategy, Corporate Restructurings, Structured Finance and HR Initiatives.

Annapurna’s journey towards a healthier lifestyle

Annapurna is HerHealth’s Health and Nutrition Champion! For a person who kept away from vegetables and substituted fruits with junk food, the training proved to be a complete ‘U’ turn in her food and nutrition habits.

Prior to the training she regularly missed her breakfast and visited the factory dispensary frequently, seeking quick-fix solutions for fatigue and the inability to concentrate at Work. She would rest for a while; take a tablet and some powder glucose to revive her strength and return to work.

Not only did Annapoorna begin to eat breakfast regularly, but she also influenced her peers to adopt healthy eating habits and take care of their well-being. She used the flipbook that was provided during the training to guide her peers on various aspects related to health. A true champ indeed!

Climbing new heights with Praveen Akthar

Ms. Parveen Akter joined Norp Knit Industries Ltd. Unit-2 in 2010 as a sewing machine operator under the production department. She proved herself to be a diligent and smart worker over the years. She was promoted from operator to senior operator in 2014.

Seeing her potential and in an attempt to bridge the gap that exists in society, where women do not get as many leadership and supervisory roles, she was promoted by the management in 2017 to Supervisor, Production. The Norp knit management decided to include her in factory mid-level management and was promoted to Supervisor in 2017. She has proven to be a good leader and continues to perform her work to the best of her ability.

Creating Equal Opportunities For Women: Omvati’s Story

Omvati joined Pearl Global Industries in 1998 as a tailor. At the time of joining she had 26 recently lost her husband and was in dire need of a job. She was in deep financial troubles, had a single stove and four utensils in her home and three young children to raise. After working for 2 and half years in the company she was in an accident and had to go on a long leave, but rejoined as soon as she healed.

She has now been with the company for 21 years and has been promoted by her General Manager due to her hard work and diligence. Her manager saw her potential and struggles, and she has now been promoted twice. She became a production supervisor soon after rejoining and currently works as a supervisor in finishing.

She has been single-handedly able to educate all her children who are now independent individuals and well settled. Her daughter is a Yoga teacher in Singapore, her elder son is an electrician and her youngest son is finishing his education. She talks with pride of her achievements and of her children.
